Bunbury, a popular Miami wine bar and eatery, is relocating to Square Station in Downtown’s Arts & Entertainment District from Wynwood.

The Argentinian co-owners Paula Costa and Fernanda Orellano are partnering with fellow Argentinian developers the Melo Group, who built Square Station.

“We were looking for a restaurant that would embrace Square Station’s Downtown location, enhance the building’s walkable, outdoor environment, and that all of our residents would enjoy. Bunbury was a perfect fit,” said developer Carlos Melo, a principal with the Melo Group.

Bunbury will occupy 7,500 square feet of prime ground-floor space with ample indoor and outdoor seating at the base of the 34-story towers.

Expanding beyond the wine bar’s romantic dinner ambiance and wall of more than 100 hand selected wines, the new Bunbury introduces a fresh concept with the integration of Fonda Café by Bunbury. Retaining much of the menu, service and spirit that have contributed to the original wine bar’s success, Bunbury serves breakfast and lunch to locals and tourists in the area at Fonda Café. The new bar offers a classic old fashioned mixology serving inventive cocktails and a fully-equipped liquor bar.

Next door, the Melo Group is currently pre-leasing its next luxury rental development, Art Plaza Apartments, which are now finishing up construction and expected to welcome tenants by Summer 2019. Monthly rental rates at Art Plaza will start at $1,600.
